Michael Sanchirico, LEED AP, is a senior vice president and senior project manager at MKDA-Stamford, where he provides total project oversight on an array of corporate interiors projects, ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, budgets and schedules. He also manages green material selections.
Michael has over 20 years of regional and national project management experience. Of note, he has managed Fortune 500 projects as well as large-scale projects comprising 300,000 square feet and 100 trading desks.
Additional experience includes extensive lobby and base building upgrades, as well as exterior revitalization projects, and management of numerous Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) reviews.
Clients have included Terex Corporation, PepsiCo, Pitney Bowes Corporation, Genworth Financial, Louis Dreyfus Commodities, Ellington Management, Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP and Hyperion Software Corporation, to name a few.
Michael joined MKDA in 2009. He had previously held positions at Esposito Design Associates, The Van Summern Group and Lancaster Associates.
Michael is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). He received his AS in architecture from Capital Community College in West Hartford, CT, and his BS in Architecture from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
