Erin Timmons

Project Designer

Erin is an Interior Designer in MKDA’s Miami office. She joined the team in 2018 and provides the full scope of design and project management services on corporate office and commercial building assignments throughout Miami.

At MKDA, Erin has worked on various notable projects including 44 West Flagler, DUOS Hotel and more. She is a member of IIDA and has been involved in the design community since the beginning of her design education by volunteering and serving on the organization board of the Festival of the Trees, as well as organizing and volunteering for various events and fundraisers at FIU.

Erin graduated with a Bachelor of science in Psychology from the University of Florida, then went on to pursue her Masters degree where she graduated with a Master of Interior Architecture from Florida International University. She received a Cruise and Super Yacht Design Certificate from FIU where she focused on interior design for cruise ships and super yachts. This program involved an 8 week cultural exchange study abroad with University of Genova naval design students. Erin also won an FEFPA Scholarship and the Florida International University Festival of the Trees Design Scholarship for Design Excellence in the Workplace Design Studio.
