The craft nature and use of earthy colors and textures used throughout this New York hedge fund’s new office were inspired by the owner’s Southern origins. Numerous custom elements and architectural details such as recessed and floating ceiling treatments feature earthy colors and textures. Glass walls and doors were accented with wood frames and refined metal details inspired by Southern wrought iron. A system of slats over windows and custom solar shades printed with landscapes are reminiscent of window shutters that are prevalent through the south. A putting green installation adjacent to a café and central work area features grey wire-brushed reclaimed wood wall panels. 12 private offices with custom dark wood furniture and seven workstations round out the space.
