For its new office at 767 Fifth Avenue, financial firm Reservoir Capital Group required a light and airy office environment that was reminiscent of the GM Building in the 1960. In other words, a classic modern design. MKDA chose simple architectural finishes such as stone flooring, lacquer panels, figured sycamore wall panels with recessed lighting and additional state-of-the-art light fixtures such as honeycomb suspension lighting. 43 perimeter offices were designed with a clear glass and polished metal wall system to optimize natural light in the large central café area that offers banquet seating and informal break out areas. In addition to the cafe, the space features two lounges and five conferences rooms, all fitted with a high-end AV package. The 38,100-RSF space houses 130 personnel and was completed in 2014.
