MKDA completed lobby and common area renovations at Bloomingdale Properties’ 1385 Broadway as part of a substantial capital improvement and modernization program. The design firm modernized the building’s entrance facade, lobby, elevator cabs, corridors and restrooms. The sleek and sophisticated interior lobby features unique design elements that reflect the excitement of the surrounding neighborhood. A custom-designed, light-emitting translucent polymer panel, for example, hangs in front of a mosaic wall of brushed stainless steel tiles.
