MKDA designed an innovative office environment, design lab and showroom for Springs Global. With a significant relocation from Midtown to Downtown Manhattan, the newly formed Brazilian-American furnishings company required a fresh design conducive to the firm’s new corporate vision. MKDA worked in close collaboration with Springs Global to create a neutral backdrop that highlights the firm’s vibrant international brands as well as work spaces that are collaborative and flexible, featuring custom-made modular workstations and movable room dividers that allow spaces to transform between studio or showroom space. The design, which follows numerous international trends, was punctuated with a modern minimalist approach to signage—the company name is solely engraved in the reception area’s gypsum ceiling.
