MKDA Promotes Edin Rudic to Newly Created Position of Creative Director
New York, NY, July 14, 2011— The New York office of corporate space planning and interior design firm MKDA has promoted Edin Rudic to the newly created position of creative director. In his new role, Rudic will oversee the firm’s design processes, provide creative vision and direction to the firm’s junior designers, manage client relationships, and create solutions to improve creative product.
“MKDA has been respected for innovative design solutions since its inception in 1959,” said MKDA President Michael Kleinberg. “With this position we plan to continue on this path, evolving alongside great innovations in domestic and international design, and offering our clients creative and timeless solutions.”

Rudic has since 2006 served as senior designer at MKDA, where his creative approach has been applied to interiors for GE Monogram, Springs Global, HSN, Woodbine Capital and WhenTech, among others. The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Interior Design have recognized his work.
Rudic holds a Masters of Science in Interior Design from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts. He has participated as a panelist and speaker at numerous industry educational forums. Through his art, he is actively involved in charities.
