On October 23, MKDA participated in a charity event hosted by Herman Miller called the Puppy Love Design Competition. MKDA competed against other design firms to recreate the Magis Puppy in a creative, innovative way. These puppies were then judged and auctioned off with the proceeds going to Social Tees Animal Rescue, a no kill shelter in New York.
MKDA won the Best Handler Award, given to the group with the best social media campaign leading up to the event. Our puppy, playfully named The Morning After, was covered in colorful, melted candle wax to depict the puppy’s wild night out in New York City. Under the handle @puppytussaud, we documented Puppy Tussauds’ adventures through the streets of New York from his first subway ride to lounging out at Domino Park. Of course, by the time he ended up at Herman Miller, his dynamic New York experience left him marked with a vibrant array of color.
