Senior Architect - STAMFORD, CT

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exhibits understanding of the firm’s design philosophy
  • Manages client relationships in collaboration with Industry and Team Leaders
  • Directs projects, guiding project teams from initial engagement through project completion
  • Serves as clients’ primary day-to-day point of contact, responding to questions and concerns in a timely, thoughtful manner
  • Ensures the quality completion of deliverables on time and on budget
  • Monitors contract compliance and execution
  • Identifies and initiates additional service agreements
  • Prepares work plans
  • Oversees and adjusts project financials, schedules, and staffing to meet design and profitability goals
  • Participates in invoicing process
  • Tracks key metrics and project data
  • Promotes corporate culture, mentoring the next-level of leaders
  • Exhibit strong communication skills with relation to client interaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Significant experience in the fields of architecture and interior architecture; a minimum of 10 years, preferably with licensure.
  • Proven track record in a leadership role
  • Project management expertise – with substantive experience managing budgets and schedules
  • A holistic understanding of the design process with thorough knowledge of technical design and construction drawing documentation.
  • Experience successfully directing the technical and delivery portions of multiple high-profile projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior time management and organizational abilities
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Rendering, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. Revit and Sketch-Up a plus.
  • RA, AIA, CID and LEED a plus

DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with construction administration, conducting field surveys and reports, and attending field meetings with clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be proficient in Revit, Sketch Up and or 3D rendering.

Senior Interior Designer - STAMFORD, CT

DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of design assignments at all sizes and levels of complexity from start to completion. The Senior Interior Designer will lead a team of designers and be a liaison between clients and project teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading and managing teams of Intermediate and Junior Designers on multiple projects
  • Leadership of project consultants and clients
  • Attending meetings and managing client expectations
  • Coordinating with outside consultants and vendors
  • Participating in programming, visioning and site assessment tasks.
  • Millwork detailing, specifications and reviewing shop drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Interior Design. CID, IIDA, ASID, LEED and WELL a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional working experience in corporate interior design
  • Highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and 3D Rendering, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with creating and understanding project documentation, including Design Development and Construction Sets
  • Good understanding of interior finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and FF&E schedules and budgets
  • Basic Knowledge of current building codes including ADA requirements
  • Ability to work well with colleagues, clients, vendors, and construction managers.
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong communication skills
  • Strong management, organizational and problem solving skills, and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Must have experience working in and currently reside in the NY Tri-State Area or be willing to relocate.
