Fort Lauderdale to consider plans for 100 Avenue of the Arts

Located just north of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Museum for Discovery & Science, the 100 Avenue of the Arts project would have 49,054 square feet of office space, 3,038 square feet of retail/restaurant space, and 109 parking spaces at 700 N.E. 7th Ave. The 25,000-square-foot vacant site spans from Northeast 6th Avenue and Northwest 7th Avenue just north of Broward Boulevard.

The colorful six-story building would have retail and restaurant space on the ground floor facing Northwest 7th Street, three floors of parking, and three floors of offices. The architect is MKDA.

The property was acquired by 100 Ave of the Arts LLC, an affiliate of Fort Lauderdale-based Fuse Group, for $700,000 in 2017. Attorney Debbie Orshefsky, who represents the developer, couldn’t immediately be reached for comment. The developer is also working with planning firm Keith and Associates.
