Goldman Properties, a pioneering development firm that restores urban neighborhoods across New York and Miami, recently tapped MKDA to provide a conceptual renovation for its management office at Miami’s Wynwood Building. MKDA sought to incorporate the energy and ingenuity of the surrounding arts district into the concept by way of color, art, furniture, lighting and materials. The newly designed conference room concept included B&B Italia white marble conference table and turquoise suede Iuta chairs, as well as grey Spinneybeck Filzfelt acoustical wall systems and custom geometric patterned Flor Carpet tiles, while the waiting area was designed with a coffee table and two tan leather B&B Italia Posa armchairs . The remaining concept employs concrete floors, maple Armstrong acoustical slat systems, custom light fixtures and Teknion workstations with grey task chairs.
