John Giuseffi

Executive Vice President

John F. Giuseffi is an executive vice president and senior project director in MKDA’s New York office.

John has senior-level expertise in the management of diverse interiors projects. He has overseen corporate build outs of all sizes including major restacking projects and national assignments for esteemed clients such as Malcolm Pirnie, P&O Nedlloyd and Pepsi Bottling Group.

John joined MKDA in 2003. Since then, he has managed corporate projects ranging from financial and law firms to media and wine & sprits brands. Clients include Reservoir Capital Group, Hall Capital Partners, Stone Harbor, Duval & Stachenfeld, Robinson & Cole, MPA and Remy. He has also managed workletter development, prebuilt and turnkey build outs, and major building repositionings for Monday Properties, Boston Properties, Hines and Mitsui.

John’s approach to project management emphasizes team building and coordination, technological utilization, intelligent real estate analysis, and schedule and budget adherence. He also provides a streamlined construction documentation phase that is critical to projects that present aggressive schedules while maintaining quality and aesthetic.

John possesses a sharp intellect. He is skilled in the identification of potential construction conflicts and provides accurate and timely solutions that best suit the needs of his clients. This attribute, coupled with exemplary communication and collaboration skills, has earned John a high degree of respect that has resulted in strong leadership and successful project outcomes.

John has also been integral to the professional development and practical knowledge of our junior architectural staff while simultaneously maintaining quality control across all disciplines through the development of company-wide accountability standards that ensure best practices.

His free time is spent as Committee Chair for Hawthorne Troop 1 of the Boy Scouts of America.

John holds a B.Arch. from Pratt Institute.
