We’re looking for a well-rounded marketer with strengths in social media, content creation, and visual communication. The ideal candidate has an eye for design and can communicate ideas through compelling graphics, motion graphics, video, presentations, and engaging written content. Experience with photography or photo styling is a plus. Whether developing proposals, creating digital and social media campaigns, designing presentations, or supporting brand initiatives, you’ll help ensure everything we create is thoughtful, polished, visually engaging, and aligned with MKDA’s brand.

Description:
The Interiors Project Architect/ Manager will work closely with our Interiors studio in Miami, FL to develop design concepts, solve complex design challenges, and provide strong technical leadership throughout each project. This role serves as the client’s primary day-to-day contact, managing expectations while directing project teams from design through construction. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail-oriented critical thinker with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
–Create construction documents, including drafting and detailing
–Coordinate with consultants and internal team members throughout all project phases
–Perform construction administration, including shop drawing and submittal review
–Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
–Attend field and coordination meetings and support overall team communication
–Ensure quality completion of deliverables on time and on budget
– Manage client relationships and team communication
–Serving as client’s primary day-to-day contact, responding to questions and concerns in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
– Expertise in commercial, hospitality, multi-family or mixed-use design projects
– 8+ years of architectural design experience
– 8+ years of REVIT experience with full construction documentation experience
– Strong knowledge of technical design and construction drawing documentation and detailing
– Experience coordinating consultants and contributing to construction administration
– Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with increasing responsibility in coordination and delivery
– Holistic understanding of the design process from concept through construction
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and ability to multitask
-RA, AIA, CID and LEED a plus
–Must currently reside in the South Florida or be willing to relocate
MKDA is seeking a Project Manager to join our Stamford, CT studio. The Project Manager will help guide project teams throughout each phase of a project, with primary responsibility for technical documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks while balancing detailed documentation with broader project delivery goals. Must currently reside in the Connecticut/ NY Tri-State Area or be willing to relocate.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of design assignments at all sizes and levels of complexity from start to completion. They will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident in communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. They should also maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.

-Highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and 3D Rendering, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office. Experience with Enscape, Lumion, or 3ds Max is a plus.
-Experience with creating and understanding project documentation, including Design Development and Construction Sets
-Good understanding of interior finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and FF&E schedules and budgets
-Proficiency in millwork detailing and specifications and reviewing shop drawings
-Basic Knowledge of current building codes including ADA requirements
-Ability to work well with colleagues, clients, vendors, and construction managers.
-Excellent presentation skills and strong communication skills
-Strong management, organizational and problem solving skills, and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
