Partners in Purpose

Giving back is not just something we do; it’s ingrained in who we are. Since 1959, MKDA has committed to and partnered with many nonprofit organizations that support our local communities and help those who are less fortunate.

Our philanthropy committee is passionate about supporting organizations through donations and “boots-on-the-ground” participation in fundraisers and activities that enhance the lives and well-being of our friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens.

Our Strategy

Mission-Aligned Giving

We support organizations that align with our core industries. We lead with our beliefs, and one of our most closely held beliefs is an equitable existence for all humans.

Employee-Led Support

Our corporate culture encourages employee engagement in causes that matter to them as individuals and members of larger communities. We support the causes our employees champion and organizations in which they are actively involved.

Close Client Partnerships

Our client partnership goes beyond the work that we do. If a cause is important to our clients, or to the local communities in and around our four studios, we do our best to provide support when and where it is needed.

Our passion for giving follows a purpose-driven design approach. We strive to build bridges between public and private spaces and to create inclusive and supportive environments for people to work, live, shop, and eat. It has long been our privilege to be able to share our success, to give back, and to help create a better society for all.

Meet One of the Organizations we Support Annually, Shalva

Shalva, the Israel Association for the Care and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, is dedicated to providing transformative care for individuals with disabilities, empowering their families and promoting social inclusion. Shalva provides an all-encompassing range of services for thousands of people with disabilities from infancy to adulthood and their families.

Recently, the World Health Organization asked the Shalva Band to be ambassadors for their global message toward improving care for people with disabilities. Here they are performing “A Million Dreams” for their online international conference. To learn more about Shalva, please visit their website.
