MKDA Partner Jeffrey Kleinberg Volunteers at JARC Florida

Over this past weekend, MKDA Partner Jeffrey Kleinberg led a social activity for residents of the Boca Raton JARC Florida, an organization that provides residential, vocational, and recreational programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Drawing on his love of automobiles, and his life-long practice of architectural planning and design, Jeffrey personally donated over 200 model car kits and guided the Supported Living Apartment residents on how to plan and assemble them.

The Importance of Giving Back

“Similar to architectural planning, model car making can require careful attention to detail and precise execution,” said Jeffrey, who led the session along with his wife Ellyn. “It was such a joy and privilege to share my passion for building model cars with the JARC residents. I’m already looking forward to providing additional support to JARC and to further developing the relationships established through future social activities.”

At MKDA, philanthropy has always been a core value. Since its earliest days, the firm has supported a number of nonprofit organizations, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community. More recently, a philanthropy committee was established to promote “boots on the ground,” active volunteerism with the goal of creating a more equitable, enriching existence for all humans.
