Geographically speaking, Wiggin and Dana LLP’s office in Stamford, Connecticut, is not moving very far — just from the seventh to the 14th floor of its current building. But the firm’s plans for this space — with nearly equal-size offices for each of its close to 30 Stamford attorneys, regardless of employment level — stand a significant metaphorical distance from what attorneys might expect from their offices.

The new space, which Hoff helped develop in consultation with the architectural firm MKDA and various colleagues, includes a wellness room where employees who are new mothers can breastfeed and handle related needs in private. There are various conference rooms, the largest of which has a movable glass wall that can open the room to even more people and transform into a more social area.
