MKDA was tasked with designing six spec suites of various sizes at 1325 G Street as well as a core amenity area for the floor’s occupants. Opting for a light and airy Scandinavian style, the team seamlessly fused simplicity and functionality to create a space that caters to a diverse array of potential tenants. The inclusion of fluted wood, greenery, and black accent pieces not only introduces warmth, but also infuses a touch of sophistication into the environment. In addition, several nooks and open breakout pods serve as cozy and flexible touchdown spots for work, a quick chat, or moments of solitude.
