Nature-Inspired Conference Center with Sustainable Elegance

2000 Tower Oaks Boulevard aims to be a building that acts as a catalyst for change. With sustainability and wellness at the forefront, the building has implemented ecologically sensitive and user-friendly practices since the early 1990s, with 95% of its portfolio achieving LEED certification. Consequently, the MKDA team crafted a sustainable, nature-inspired conference center that emphasizes a harmonious connection between the interior and exterior environment. Beginning with the entrance, users are greeted with an intimate, organic experience that incorporates wood elements, natural light, soft curves, and framed surrounding views. The business plaza acts as a central gathering point and possesses a number of flexible seating options including banquettes, huddle rooms with integrated technology, and a semi-private pergola for either informal socialization or focus work. A multipurpose conference room, the space’s main destination, features flexible sliding glass doors and can be reconfigured in a multitude of ways, depending on the meeting or event size.
