MKDA partnered with a leading financial services firm to design its new 11,061-square-foot headquarters at The QUAD, a premier mixed-use development in Uptown Dallas. As MKDA’s first project in the Dallas–Fort Worth market, the relocation offered a meaningful opportunity to introduce our design expertise to the region while creating a workplace that elevates the firm’s culture and day-to-day experience. This collaboration resulted in a purpose-built environment that reflects the organization’s evolution, values, and aspirations for continued growth.
MKDA’s design balances executive sophistication with the warmth of a boutique hospitality experience. The entry features a refined reception area, accented by wood-paneled walls and integrated lighting that establish a polished, inviting tone. Throughout the space, chevron-laid white oak flooring, acoustical wallcoverings, and custom millwork blend tactile luxury with functionality. The design also takes full advantage of The QUAD’s advanced infrastructure, bringing openness and natural light deep into the floorplate through elevated ceiling lines and full-height glass office fronts that enhance transparency and volume.
The layout supports approximately 40 employees and is designed for both focused work and connection. Private offices, open workstations, and multiple collaboration spaces—including two conference rooms, four huddle rooms, and two lounge-style touchdown areas—enable flexibility for team and client interactions. A dedicated café and wellness room further enrich the environment, introducing moments of comfort, hospitality, and care into the daily routine.
