MKDA produced a timeless, high-end design concept for an established financial firm with a balanced mix of private, collaborative, and open spaces to support its vigorous work. Using warm wood tones contrasted against a neutral white and gray backdrop, the team established a welcoming and refined environment to complement the company’s disciplined approach to investing.
Creating a variety of quiet and focus areas was paramount to the design and, as a result, MKDA implemented a number of sound attenuation strategies. These solutions included the selection of soft surfaces and materials for sound absorption and insulated partitions to promote acoustic comfort. At the same time, each private space features all-glass office fronts to foster a sense of openness and transparency among employees. The team also installed the latest videoconferencing technology in the meeting rooms to ensure seamless communication between other offices and clients.
