MKDA Designs New Downtown Headquarters for MJHS Health System

With the cut of a ribbon, MJHS Health System today was joined by Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine at the official opening of the not-for-profit’s new corporate headquarters at 55 Water Street in Lower Manhattan, just fifteen months after completing the largest real estate transaction of its kind since the pandemic. Representatives from the offices of Assemblymember Charles Fell and New York City Office of the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services also attended the long-anticipated unveiling and tour of the light-filled 138,000 square foot office. MKDA was honored to design the forward-thinking, two floor workspace, which exemplifies the new hybrid work model and supports nearly 1,000 on-site employees as well as an additional 700 remote workers.
